The Situation
Three adult siblings disagreed about how to share responsibility for an elderly parent's care. Each had a different idea of what was fair, and previous discussions had ended in silence rather than resolution.
How Hearthway Helped
A facilitated session gave each sibling equal time to speak without interruption. The facilitator helped clarify what each person was actually asking for — which turned out to be different from what the others had assumed. A follow-on records session captured what had been agreed.
The Outcome
The family left with a written plan they all recognised as their own decision. Six months later, one sibling contacted us to say the arrangement was still holding — and that having a document had prevented several potential misunderstandings.
